Meet Our Staff
Candice Starrett, a Rindge resident since 1970, has been in real estate for 19 years in the Monadnock region and broker/owner of Candice Starrett Real Estate for 10 years. She is a licensed broker in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Country properties and waterfront real estate are her specialties. Throughout her career, Candice has been a very active listing agent, but also works effectively as a buyer’s agent. Candice has served as a member and officer of several community and professional boards. She is an active member of the Rindge Woman’s Club and the Rindge Historical Society. She has served on and chaired several committees of the Contoocook Valley Board of Realtors, including the Professional Standards and Grievance Committee.
Candice’s personal recreation activities reflect the amenities in the region. She is active in downhill and cross-country skiing, golfing, hiking, biking, and boating and fishing on Lake Monomonac.

Marie Powley has lived in Rindge, New Hampshire since 1956. She has four children and two grandchildren.
Marie has been involved in real estate since 1970, licensed in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and enjoys meeting and working with all types of people.
She is past director of the Rindge Chamber of Commerce and is presently a director of the Contoocook Valley Board of Realtors. She is a member of the St. Patrick Parish hospitality committee and of the folk choir. She also belongs to the Rindge Woman's Club and chairs the Harvest Festival Committee.
Dancing, reading, needlework and gardening are some of her recreational activities.
Contributing to the improvement of community and family life are priorities with her.

Rose Smiga resides in Rindge, NH. She has been active in Real Estate in Southern New Hampshire for 14 years. Her broad knowledge of the business is a big assett in the marketplace. Excellent service and honesty is on the top of her list.
She is the mother of two grown children and grandmother of four.
Rose believes getting involved in one's community and knowledge of what is coming about in area towns is very important. She is always ready to give a helping hand.
She enjoys all types of crafts and gardening is very much first on her list. She is always ready to help people with their needs in either buying or selling Real Estate. Trying to keep people comfortable from start to finish is important to her.

Joanne Buck of Jaffrey has joined the sales team at Candice Starrett Real Estate. She has been a licensed real estate broker since 1973. Recently she ran a temporary help service, In Good Hands.
She is a graduate of the Realtor Institute and is a member of the Contoocook Valley Board of Realtors, N.H. Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
Joanne is also a member of the Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce and the Friends of the Wapack. She is past president of TEAM Jaffrey (Jaffrey's Downtown Revitalization organization) and a director of the Jaffrey Woman's Club. She is also a Notary Public.
